Water Butts, a good investment as Hose Pipe ban looms!
Waterwise estimate that up to 85,000 litres of water can fall on a domestic house roof each year. Investing in a Water Butt or tank to collect this free resource is not only a means of reducing the use and cost of mains water for garden and car washing use, it is also valuable insurance against the very real prospect of Hose Pipe bans in certain parts of the country, later this year.

Lowest water inflow for 50 years in South Bristol area
Bristol Water has reported that the inflow for December was the lowest in the region since 1960 and that the total water inflow for 2010 was roughly half that expected in a normal year.

Bright new name for a bright New Year!
LINPAC Environmental Limited will be known as Leafield Environmental Limited due to a change in the ownership of the business at the end of 2010.
Leafield Environmental Ltd is a now an independent business backed by funds managed by investment group Chamonix Private Equity but will continue to be run by the existing management team.

the 44 page book provides a comprehensive guide to the background and
specifics of setting up a system, funding support and legislation.

Bunded Fuel Tanks in demand as Fuel Costs rise
Paxton report strong sales of Harlequin Bunded Fuel Tanks at last weeks AgriScot event held at the Royal Highland Showground. This is hardly surprising as petrol prices in Scotland are among the highest recorded in the UK. Elsewhere in the UK prices are again nearing £1.20 per litre and there is increasing concern that prices will continue to rise.

Paxton feature in Medal winning Chelsea Garden

The Recessed Urban Garden, sponsored by Pemberton Greenish in collaboration with Knoll Gardens and designed by Paul Hensey, was awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal.
